Brushes
The brushes are sculptural objects made from wrapped plant-based fibres. Dense cores anchor the pieces, while loose ends fall like horse tails or are trimmed into precise silhouettes. The wrapping method becomes a study of in the fibre’s structural qualities, as well as a study of color and form.. Freestanding or suspended, singular or combined, these forms hold themselves without internal support, moving between geometric and organic presence in space.
